Aquila Travel Academy Program
Aquila Travel Academy program consist of an eight-week night course that is specifically designed to provide the skills and training necessary to prepare students for entry-level positions in the travel industry.
Students will learn travel theory and application on individual SABRE multimedia based computers. This course permits all students to apply theories learned on a live system. This allows real-time actual responses from airlines, car companies, and hotel vendors.
Our program allows for hands-on SABRE training. Students learn how to make reservations, book cars and hotels, work with millions of airfares and rules, book tours, cruised, and rail through the reservations system. The curriculum begins with an introduction to the computer systems and functions, then progresses to: Domestic Air Travel, Tours and Packages, Cruising, Sales & Customer Service, Geography and Destinations, Resume Preparation & Career Advice, and Destination Specialist.
